Deebo is done with the Steelers

The near legendary line-backer James Harrison has been deactivated and tossed off the Pittsburgh Steelers team, but he was welcomed at the New England Patriots, for peanuts though.

Though the media has long presented Harrison AKA 'Deebo', it appears that he was not well liked by his teammates. After Harrison signed with the Patriots on December 27, several Steelers players have blasted their former teammate at social media and to journalists. Harrison is now 39 and provides age range camaraderie for the equally aged Tom Brady.

Deebo has responded to all the team rejection posts

After the first week of the season, I said to them, it’s clear you want to play your younger guys and I understand, so why don’t you release me,” Harrison said. “You go on your way and I’ll go on mine. They said, ‘No, no, no, we got a role for you.'”

“I explained the situation to [Steelers linebackers coach Joey Porter] and he said, ‘I’m not going to sit here and tell you not to do something when you’re making a business decision,'” Harrison said. “I made a decision based on what was best for me.”
